The artists Karen Ascher and Katrin Kamrau invite you to the Esperanto-Stacio in Halbe on the day of the open studio. They exhibit works together and invite to talks, painting, kneading and a spring snack. Karen Ascher exhibits graphics, illustrations and ceramics, Katrin Kamrau photographs and installations.


Karen Ascher has been working freelance in the Spreewald for more than ten years in the fields of illustration, sculpture, painting and graphics. She initiates art projects and is active in the cultural association Halbe.Welt. The revival of the Sorbian language and the dissemination of the local legends with new designs and applications are close to her heart. She studied landscape management in Neubrandenburg and graphics & design in Anklam


Katrin Kamrau studied photography at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2010 and graduated with a diploma from Prof. Suse Wigand and Prof. Dr. Anna Zika exits.
