On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Bürgerregion Lausitz / Wertewandel e. V., together with the Local Action Group Spreewaldverein e. V. and Esperanto Bahnhof Halbe, invites you to the 3rd Festival for Engagement and Participation in Halbe.

The previous events have shown how valuable it is to bring together people from associations, initiatives, municipalities, projects and networks. These encounters have led to new contacts, collaborations and ideas that continue to have an impact today.

We would like to build on this and spend a day together full of exchange, inspiration and networking.

Under the motto “Connect – Learn – Shape the Future”, this year’s festival will take place in a somewhat more compact format. The aim is to test a format that can also be easily implemented and adapted by other initiatives and regions.

You can look forward to:

• the presentation of the current publication on engaged places in Lusatia

• insights into the series “Villages in Focus”

• short impulses and good-practice examples

• a joint participatory workshop

• space for exchange, networking and new ideas

• a shared lunch as well as coffee, tea and conversations
  

Whether you have been involved for many years or are just getting started: the festival offers an opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another and look ahead together.
