Symposium "Virtual Reality and Language Learning" on March 25, 2024

How can one use Virtual Reality to learn (languages) more effectively? This still relatively young technology offers potential for educational innovations. In the symposium, we aim to discuss the state of developments, demonstrate initial practical experiences, and explore the possibilities that may arise in the future through the integration of Virtual Reality and learning environments, particularly in relation to languages, as well as the use of AI.

Researchers and educators from various institutions will present their groundbreaking projects and share their findings. The topics will range from practical applications of immersive learning environments to transformative projects that consider broader infrastructural changes for successful integration.

This invitation is extended not only to those actively involved in research on immersive technologies but also to educators who are curious about innovative methods. It is an inclusive platform for all who are interested in shaping the future of language instruction through technology.
